Which is better removable gooseneck lowbed trailer or lowbed trailer?

Lowbed semi-trailers are usually used to transport heavy-duty vehicles, rail vehicles, mining machinery, forestry machinery, agricultural machinery, construction machinery and other heavy-duty goods. The lower the center of gravity, the better the stability and safety. And the stronger the ability to pass overhead obstacles.

When loading mechanical equipment on an ordinary low bed trailer, it is usually loaded from the rear of the semi-trailer. Since the rear wheel frame is always higher than the pallet, there are many disadvantages in this loading method. First of all, when moving mechanical equipment from the rear wheel frame, it is necessary to provide a suitable slope or ladder. If necessary, a rather long ladder is required to provide a suitable slope for heavy machinery. Loaded in this way, the mechanical equipment is easy to slip or fall from the ladder; when it leaves the springboard, it is also easy to fall onto the semi-trailer cargo platform, causing excessive impact load on the cargo platform. Therefore, ordinary lowboy semi-trailers seem to be a bit difficult when transporting larger and heavier machinery, and are more suitable for the transportation of daily machinery. 

The gooseneck of the removable gooseneck lowbed semi-trailer can be completely separated from the semi-trailer, so that the front end of the semi-trailer can be lowered to contact with the ground, but the gooseneck remains connected to the rear end of the tractor. After loading or unloading, the tractor drags the gooseneck back and aligns with the front end of the trailer, and the rgn trailer and the gooseneck are re-connected and restored to the transport state.

At present, the widely used removable rgn low bed semi-trailers mostly adopt the method of gooseneck with self-powered equipment. Although the semi-trailer needs to be equipped with a lot of additional equipment, such as small diesel engines, starters, batteries, hydraulic pumps, hydraulic cylinders, etc., this method can improve the versatility of the tractor, so it is widely used.

There are two types of hydraulic removable gooseneck lowboy trailers: ground load and non-ground load. When the lowbed semi-trailer in the form of ground load is loading and unloading mechanical equipment on soft and muddy ground, it is easy to press the sleepers into the ground and cannot be removed, and it is difficult to lift the gooseneck. The non-ground-bearing low bed trailer is suitable for various ground conditions and has a wide range of applications. When transporting longer cargo, a removable gooseneck lowbed trailer with a retractable cargo platform structure can be used.
